对,授权的事已经与作者初步沟通过,Hadley说该书的版权在O‘Reilly,建议我与O’Reilly沟通。我是先翻译好,出版社之间再商量,因为翻译的过程我自己也系统的学习了一遍。

O'Reilly holds the copyright for the book so I'd need to double check
with them that they're ok with it (they have been fine with community
translations in the past). Are you familiar with bookdown? The ideal
translation would keep the contents in .Rmd format so we could easily
turn it into a website.

Hi, Hadley,
I'v been playing around with Shiny for my data analysis study since this February, encapsulating R & Python models with Shiny APPs. I notice that the book is published by O'Reilly at May,2021 already, and have finished reading the free online version of it too. I think it an excellent book for Shiny beginners, and want to translate it into Chinese, thank you for your wonderful work! There isn't any Shiny book in Chinese at the pressent moment and it's really in need for those people who want to get to know with Shiny.
In fact, I'v finished translating the first several chapters with the help of machine translation from a search engine, and is planing to finish it in about a month. So I think it's better to say hello to you and ask whether I can do it or not? If it's O.K., then I'll go on with my translation work and discuss the latter things with you when it's finished. The sample chapters in Chinese can be accessed on my website, may you have a look at it?
Waiting for your reply, thanks in advance.
Best Regards
Jean from China
