Analytics Manager 数据分析经理
Report to: P&L Leader
Location: Chongqing, China 工作地点:重庆
What is the China team?
Enova and Nationwide, through a JV partnership, will lend nationally throughout China. After an 18 month pilot phase, the JV recently reached an important milestone; first pan American/European company to be granted a National E-commerce Micro-Lending License in China (same National Micro-Lending License Alibaba was granted in 2011).
Enova is a FinTech company listed on the NYSE [ticker symbol ENVA]. With over a decade of internet lending experience, Enova has deep expertise in instantaneous online decision-making, thin-file credit applicants, big data analytics, mobile apps, etc.
Nationwide, owned by one of the premier families in Hong Kong, has deep business expertise and an extensive network in China.
The Enova and Nationwide JV, JetCredit, is looking for motivated and street-smart candidates with positive attitude to join the team. The China Team is well-resourced with abundant capital, technical expertise, analytical capability and an experienced executive council.
What is the environment/culture?
The environment will be a startup environment (small teams, wearing multiple hats, large responsibilities, best-idea-wins-mentality, highly driven and smart colleagues, casual attire including shorts, t-shirts and baseball caps, etc.) without any of the typical startup burdens. One important distinction in the JV start-up is the amount of capital invested including access to more capital when needed.

What is the Analytics team?
As an Analytics Manager you will be one of the most valuable resources. You will use creativity and innovative techniques to enhance and improve current statistical processes and methods. You will embody a standard to coordinate, manage and review statistical modeling solutions and analysis to determine validity, impact potential and business fit. You will be expected to communicate to senior management through discussion, presentations, and write-ups of results, recommendations and insights gained through data analysis to be used to develop strategic and operational plans.
It is imperative to have the ability to adjust on the fly as new information surfaces and priorities shift. You will demonstrate the ability to maintain a thorough understanding of Enova’s products and businesses from a strategic standpoint, in addition to deep knowledge of underwriting/business analytics principles and strategies. You will facilitate close collaboration between team members and Technology & Operations groups on cross-functional projects to improve our verification processes. Most importantly you will manage a small team of statistical analysts/modelers.
Successful Analytics team members think big picture/strategically, work out the operational details to solve problems before they occur, use data and/or logic to back their ideas and execute quickly.

You’re right for this job if you have:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required
本科及同等学历
At least 10 years of experience in an Analytics or related field
10年以上数据分析经验
Advanced programming skills and the ability to write customized SAS (or other statistical tool) programs for meaningful data analysis

At least 4 years of experience directly managing 2 or more employees

Experience working with relational databases, such as SQL

Kudos to you if you have:
A Master’s degree or PhD in related field of study

Experience in Analytics at a financial institution

A strong understanding of delivering financial services through the Internet.

Proven experience leading a credit/risk analytics, or modeling team, where team members were responsible for quantitative analysis, and model building.

What happens if I don’t meet the criteria above?
We value highly driven individuals who are smart and willing to learn. And folks that are natural problem solvers. Positive attitude is a huge plus as well. If you don’t meet the criteria in the previous section, no worries. Just apply and prove yourself through the application process and interview process.
E-commerce experience is not required. We will teach you all things E-commerce although you have to play your part since a large portion of the learning is on-the-job.
Better yet, for those without E-commerce experience, you will walk away from this role in a few years with an E-commerce stamp on your resume.
