Prerequisites:
Be able to work over 3 days a week for at least 3 months (some positions require at least 6 months).
Enrolled as student during the whole internship period.
一、Intern Data Analyst – Marketplace Insight project
Responsibility:
We are targeting to find at least 1 data analyst interns to work on Marketplace Insight project. The responsibility of the intern is to employ Hadoop MapReduce to data mine Ad Serving data to furnish Business & Engineer teams on the trend in Marketplace & effectiveness of Engineering deliverables.
Employ statistical techniques, illustrate Marketplace trends & insights for Business teams. Example, provide eCPM lift & participation trend details to Publisher when they released more traffic to RTB-D partners.
Provide timely system utilization metric to effect accurate and cost effective capacity planning. Example, through adoption rate & trend, determine # of new hardware to add into Production farm, in pace with increased usage.
Requirements:
Major in Applied Statistics or related fields.
Work onsite for at least 4 days in a week.
Understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical data analysis methods.
Familiar with at least one scripting language such as Perl, Shell or Python.
Knowledge of Hadoop is a plus.
Good communication skills.
