micro@ The question may be related to the dilemma of whether we should teach biomed students what to do or rather teach them what not to do in an introductory statistical methodology course.
SPSS17 to do or not to do are just the aspect of know-how, but theory is the most important, at least i deem, if your routine is theory first then practice, then u will find easier, but adversely clearly not pleasant
micro@ Please note that they are biomed students. Teaching pure theory in an introductory course to them would be rather difficult.
