Equally important as, if not more important than, your question of what curve to be fitted is the question of how to model the variability.

I don't suggest relying on SPSS for this data if you have only minimal statisical training. Consult a reliable professional statisician.

the point is what the objective u wanna reach? if u only want to obtain a desriptive intuition about your data, i.e. the relationship of these 2 variables, then u can use nonparametric methods like LOWESS or SPLINE,both methods can be realized with R
