回复 第5楼 的 doctorjxd:I guess when people say time series, they usually consider a lot of time points with some kind of stationality assumptions with primary emphasis on forecasting. This most likely excludes logitudinal data with a finite number of time points with emphasis on accounting for different sources/levels of variability.

For example, everyone knows that right now is the pollination season, and you will see a lot of allergies. But so what? Do I really need to know how many people are expected to come to a doctor's office on a given day?
