Job Description
Location: Shanghai/Beijing/Guangzhou
Title: Biostatistician/Senior Biostatistician
Primary responsibilities include:
* New product investigations, new market analysis, business case development, technology assessment, and product concept development for the commercial products
* Define product and portfolio requirements by analyzing customer usage and needs, market research data, future technology, competitive threats, LOB growth and profitability goals, regional requirements and resource optimization
* Responsible for driving products from concept to customer delivery
* Responsible for setting the direction for the total customer experience from consideration, purchase, delivery and ownership
* Develop and present recommendations and analyses to the executive management for approvals
* Drive primary market research to investigate and validate customer needs & wants
* Work closely with the regional sales teams to ensure a successful product definition and launch
* Able to analyze complex, multi-variable tradeoffs to make business case recommendations
Qualifications
* Total of 7+ years of industry experience.
* 5 yrs+ experience in product marketing or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
* Should have familiarity with the consumer products and related technologies.
* Strong business and financial acumen required.
* Excellent verbal, written communication & executive presentation skills required.
* Must be comfortable working independently & in cross-functional teams
