Role Purpose:
Under guidance, provides support in statistical programming and applying basic statistical methodologies to assigned research projects.
Principal Accountabilities:
Under supervision, provides statistical programming and methodology support in the delivery of standard and custom studies.
Conducts statistical programming, applies statistical design and methodology to meet client information needs, conducts statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the study, and delivers regular summary report.
Works as part of a team in preparing analysis plans and statistical reports and performs validation of statistical analysis.
Works on projects of limited scope within defined procedures and practices.
Requirement:
Master’s degree or equivalently, Bachelor’s degree with up to two (2) years of experience in Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative science field in operations research, market research, or applied statistics.
Fundamental Statistical knowledge includes regression, hypothesis testing, sampling methods, and multivariate statistics is required.
Solid logical thinking, skills in a structured programming language, and applied experience in SAS and/or other statistical programming is preferred.
Ability to perform basic analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on non-routine matters.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills (CET Level 6 or equivalent).

2. Position Title: Senior Statistician

Role Purpose:
Independently provides a wide range of statistical, methodological and SAS programming support for new US research offerings including impact assessments, business line development and business continuity.
Principal Accountabilities:
Conducts quality control processes for onboarding new data suppliers
Tests and validates different data source scenarios and stratification/projection models for syndicated Information & Analytic offerings
Provides statistical programming support
Extracts, manipulates, analyzes and summarizes datasets from PC, mainframe, and UNIX platforms
Requirement:
Master’s degree or equivalently, Bachelor’s degree with up to two (2) years of experience in Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative science field in operations research, market research, or applied statistics.
Applied Statistical knowledge includes regression, sampling methods, and multivariate statistics is required, knowledge in advanced Statistical methodologies such as forecasting techniques is preferred.
Intermediate experience in SAS including macros in mainframe, PC, and UNIX environment is required, or solid skills in a structured programming language is preferred.
Experience working with very large data sets and SQL knowledge highly desirable.
Solid analytical and logical thinking, good interpersonal and communication skills in a team environment is required.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills (CET Level 6 or equivalent).

3. Position Title: Statistical Programmer

Role Purpose:
Provides Statistical programming support to the Group of Global Statistics;
Assists in developing PC, Unix and mainframe applications;
Optimizes, standardizes and documents statistical processes;
Supports on running recurring statistical processes and new customer deliverables according to programming specifications.
Principal Accountabilities:
Independently provides statistical programming and database support
Extracts, manipulates, analyzes and summarizes datasets from PC, Unix and mainframe platforms
Conducts quality control processes for on boarding new data suppliers
Tests and validates different data source scenarios and stratification/projection models for syndicated Information & Analytic offerings
Assisting statisticians in preparing analysis plans and statistical reports and performing validation of statistical analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in applied Statistics/applied Math with focus on Computer Sciences / Information Technologies.
2 years of programming experience in applied Statistics with focus on IT.
Intermediate experience in SAS (Base, STAT, Macros, SQL, ODS, etc.) in mainframe, PC, and UNIX environment is required, or solid skills in a structured programming language is preferred.
Experience in working with very large data sets, SQL knowledge and VBA are required.
Applied Statistical knowledge includes regression, sampling methods, multivariate are preferred.
Good analytical and logical thinking, good interpersonal and communication skills in a team environment is required.
Good oral and written English communication skills (CET Level 4 or equivalent).
Multi-task oriented.
